The EMRAD team is collaboratively funded (by the 7 EMRAD NHS Hospital Trusts), and remains a true regional team as a result.
The EMRAD Team are based at Loughborough University Campus in an Olympic legacy funded new building, the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM) - http://www.ncsem.org.uk, a move aimed to signify neutrality and impartiality.
The EMRAD team is led by an Executive Accountable Officer, Medical Director and Programme Director. They are supported by a wider team, which provides a range of support functions including project management and project support administration, analytics and business change management.
As a senior IT executive, Andrew has overall responsibility for strategic and operational aspects of the EMRAD Consortium.
Jeannie joined EMRAD in 2015 bringing varied knowledge, experience and skillset to the team. She is responsible for the support team of the EMRAD Programme who provide proactive and practical support to the consortium.
SENIOR INFORMATION ANALYST
Vipul joined EMRAD in 2018 and has many years of experience of working in the data analytics field in the Engineering, Housing and Education sectors. He is currently working in and improving the EMRAD analytics service, which also involves the Artificial Intelligence in breast screening project.
Veronica joined the EMRAD team in 2019 as the Project Support officer for the artificial intelligence in breast screening project. She brings with her managerial experience after working in the retail sector for 10 years. She is a qualified Prince 2 and Prince 2 Agile Practitioner.
Penny originally started her career as an Out Patient Manager at the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham and then moved on to work for nearly twenty years in the commercial healthcare arena. Penny decided to come back into the NHS taking on the role of Programme Director for the EMRAD Consortium in 2013. Leading both the EMRAD procurement, deployment, business as usual phases and is now working on the next 8 years of where the EMRAD Consortium goes strategically.
Jacqueline joined EMRAD in May 2017 bringing with her 18 years NHS experience of implementing clinical and operational IT systems and now managing the exploitation of the EMRAD analytics service.
Faaz joined EMRAD in 2017 and has been pivotal in developing the business intelligence tool for EMRAD. He also manages day to day running of the EMRAD insourcing project.
Ben joined EMRAD in 2018 bringing over 30 years of NHS experience which has included time as a Medical Physicist and multiple ICT roles. Ben manages the live services within the EMRAD consortium.
James is a consultant Radiologist and an experienced clinical manager. He is responsible for the clinical leadership of the consortium, helps steer the strategic direction and oversees the clinical governance processes.
Simon brings with him 17 years of experience in project and change management, using technology enabled transformation to support patient care. He currently leads on the transformational pillar of the EMRAD strategy which includes the Artificial Intelligence in breast screening project.
Letty joined EMRAD in 2018 bringing 6 years NHS experience including Clinical Governance, ICT Systems Training and Project Management. Current responsibilities include benefits realisation of deployed solutions, as well as, managing deployment of select GE digital solutions.
